Nong mom market is located on both sides of Sukhumvit Road only 60 meters from the intersection to Bang Sean. On both sides are full with shops mostly selling food and snacks. People here do trading businesses. The shops can be both store and stalls on the footpath. Nowadays there are more types of goods including food and snacks. The famous ones are sticky rice in bamboo, Thai custard pudding, Nipa Palm dessert, steam mussel with curry paste and seafood, grilled squid, fried shrimp, crab meat rool fish cake etc.
Almost all tourists must buy the sticky rice in bamboo and other snacks for their relatives and friends. The popular food can be fish cake, crab meat roll that are very delicious. I usually bought them for my parents but the price is a bit high although this is rather normal for delicious food. There are also seafood, dry fish, salted fish, sweet fish, dry shrimp, preserved shrimp, shrimp paste, dry squid, grind squid, fish sauce etc.
